Oh, to hear such a beautiful song again, the way this brings back memories with your short description, my dear sir, thank you. Alright, the piano mixed with another piano or strings, is amazing. The pace was nice, not to fast or slow, but right on the money, the flow is wonderful, the best I've heard since listening to slow, creepy piano music. At the end, you really tied it all together like a bow on a Christmas present, I love it. 5/5 10/10 and favored.

NordicHazard responds:

thanks! i'm happy if my pieces give emotions, that's all i ask!

Oh man I wasn't even prepared for what I am now listening to. You truly made me feel at home here in the snow and the cold. I had the original song downloaded and I can't help but smile as you defiantly added a spice to the music. I will be looking forward to more of your work, and I feel that I won't be disappointed by what I find next. 10/10 5/5.

DiroNomer responds:

Thanks man. If you like, check out some of my other stuff too. :D

Hmmm

I can't seem to remember the last time I heard something from you. I am very impressed with the way this was composed, the subtle changes, the voice, the way that it started slow in the beginning. Then it started to get faster, the change is noticeable to what I could hear. I love it that near the end, the piano with the background was making a solo. And then just like a tape recorder with dying batteries it then made it all the more able that you knew what you were doing. Kudos my man, 5/5 10/10. Keep up the good work.

Make it longer...>.>

First I would have to say that they way you reworked this song was truly stunning. I kept being transported back to where an old hero was telling children around his feet an adventure that he had gone on. Inspiring their hopes and dreams to better themselves. At the end the children go off and he kissed the women he loves and smiles as they walked slowly home, arm in arm to eat. All in all I am very impressed with the way that it ended and then it loops around. 5/5 10/10 Just one important thing, please oh please make it longer.

Sheodon responds:

Thank you for your comment, it's really useable and I'm really glad you enjoyed my music. :) I think it's totally different from the original version which was submitted a few ages ago, it's way more emotional and a bit tragical too.

Connected to your children-Hero link, it could be also said that the original theme is from the time when Ben Sylvan (the Hero) was also a child, or at least a teenager, and he just started his own journey. That's why it's a bit more energical and faster, and now, the Hero is lived some journeys and now he finished his own saga. Now he can tell the today's children some stories, some tales about his own life - he's not energical anymore, he's a tragical Hero who sacrificed a lots of things to achieve his goal - maybe he's also lost some friend... but at the end, we realize that heroes always win, and he achieved everything he wanted - finally, he's worthy for a tranquil life. He has a home now where he can go.

He always needs to remember, he'll always remember for his friends and lost during their journey. But at least he gained salvation. He's different from the young teen who searched for adventures - he's searching for peace only. :)

Also, there will be a third version/variant for this theme, the original The Guardians version of the theme (which is the story where Ben Sylvan is one of the main characters). It'll be an orchestrated variant, and maybe it'll be a bit longer.

*Moves with the music*

I walk along the shore... These memories threaten to over take me, as I cry...
Looking back I wish that things had turned out better than before... Please don't leave me...

These tears how I wish that they would show how deep my desire and sorrow is... I can hear that laughter and pain that I caused you...Please don't leave me...

I sit down as the waves are crashing over me, making me feel all the more alone in my past... If there was a chance, would you ever take me back?...All I ask is....Please don't leave me...

Hmmm

I haven't heard any recent songs of your songs lately so I looked you up again. You really have improved since I last heard you. Got to say that voice of your's makes me sit and ponder things I wish I could forgot... *Sighs and sits back* Thank you for this by the way, I needed something like this for awhile. Keep up the good work. 5/5 10/10.

OMG

I didn't really wonder what I was missing from my childhood when I ran across this. Tales from the Crypt was usually my absolute favorite. The way that you use the same theme from the show but added your own twists here and there made me grin. If this was added to a movie I wouldn't be surprised. Good luck on the other songs you do, I will keep an eye out for you. "Literally" :P 5/5 10/10.

Aww...

Well it is rather short, but the way it's presented in the time allotted has me craving more, wanting to see whats in the forest. Hopefully you can work on that, in the mean time I have given you a 5/5 10/10 and it is downloaded, please work on this tantalizing piece. It gives me goosebumps where this might go, keep up the good work, I love it.

Hmmm....

Very good sirs, I think what you were both trying to say through the music has reached your audience. It is very much like Final Fantasy and maybe hopefully they would put this in a future game of theirs. Anyways good luck and hopefully I can hear more of this delicious music in the future.

Very good....

As it is my opinion that you are a very talented musician, and even when I played a little bit I couldn't seem to make it the way you certainly have here. I am greatly in your debt to help me with several writing pieces that I do on occasion, thank you very much.
"Even now as a tear drops from my eye, I see in the closing sunset fall below the skyline. I stand and wipe it away, ashamed from all my past deeds and walk. Walking into a unknown future that will hold many things for me, sadness, happiness, maybe even death. This is something I will be looking forward to as I take one step, then another, always with learning something more."

Please take care as I will be expecting more of what you have to bring, and not anything less.

BlazingDragon responds:

In a way, your story represents what I felt when composing this piece; a sense of uncertainty, sorrowful reminiscence, and yet a slight tinge of hope.

Thank you very much.

I play the games watch the movies and I love everything, Now go away before I eat you.
